Tea is one of beverages that have been studied to provide anti-cancer properties. The tea here is true tea including black, green, and oolong tea, not herbal teas such as from flowers or roots. Generally, the most widely studied tea is green tea. In the tea, there are several active compounds, particularly catechin EGCG, a group of phytochemicals.
