In several laboratory studies, broccoli has been known as super food for cancer patients. Why? It’s because there are plenty of nutrients and other healthful compounds in broccoli that offer anti-cancer properties.

These three flavonoid components provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to slow the development of several types and stage of cancer.

  1. High fiber

  • Compact, firm, and heavy for their size with no soft and no-off-odors.

  • The color of green is fresh with yellowish.

  • Don’t wash them until you want to use it.

  • Store them in the refrigerator in an unsealed plastic bag.

  • Prepare them in a way to retain its nutrient components such as steam, stir-fry, sauté, or microwave.

  • Don’t boil them in a pot of boiling waters

Some of children may hate to eat their meals when it contains with broccoli. They will refuse to eat or just put it away from their plate. So, parents should create a smart way to serve broccoli in appetizing looks.
