Sunset painting progression photos by BECKY JOY

Sunset Glow 6"x6" oil landscape $95.

Hi everyone, I played with color today. I thought I would post my source on this painting so that you could see how I often work. I had an old photo that I started with, then let my imagination take over with color.
I've also posted a few photos of my progression of the painting.

Now a final picture. Do you think it's time to clean? I have a path in the door, to the easel, and to the computer. The storage room on the right is impossible to get to right now. I'll start cleaning today, or maybe I'll just paint one more painting.
Talk to you all later.
Becky

Hi Becky, thanks for showing your progress. It is fun to see. Also, thanks for taking me out to paint with you last month. I heard Phoenix got snow recently! Did you take pictures of this unusual event? I haven't seen you paint snow yet! Happy Holidays! Carolyn

thanks Pam, No, I didn't just move in. I have boxes with some paintings from a gallery that I pulled out of. And just dropping supplies into the studio and not putting them away. I did put a couple of ptgs away today. Then painted some more. It'll all be there tomorrow or the next day.

Thank you everyone. I do like to work from my imagination. So much more fun and freeing.
Carolyn, glad to hear from you. It was my pleasure to go out with you. We've has a lot of rain the past couple of days. I didn't see any snow. I did hear that there was snow on the Superstitions about a week ago. Probably was in the mts. north of Carefree too. I was just in the studio.
